My Happiness and Heart

Yesterday my landlord knocked on my door wanting to check my toilet. She came in I picked up a hand towel that had fallen on the floor and one that was on the sink and said excuse the mess my kids have been sick and I have not had any time to clean up. She said its no problem. she took one look in my toilet and pointed and said its your toilet. she turned around and yelled and pointed in my face its your toilet, its your fault. i am going to raise the rent because its your fault. i said what do you mean its my fault. she said i told you if you saw something wrong with your toilet to let me know. i looked at the toilet it flushes so what could be wrong. she said the toilet is running. ok im not a plumber, im not dumb but i do not know anything about plumbing. so how could i have told her something was wrong with the toilet? she came to my apartment 2 times to check the toilet herself. she didn’t find anything wrong both times. she proceeded to call me stupid because i did not know what a running toilet was. She checked it twice so who is she really calling stupid. she said i was born in the country and that i graduated high school so i should know what a running toilet is. she kept referring to me as “you people”. i asked her what do you mean you people. she would not say only she would repeat you people. at this point i started yelling at her back while my kids are in their room crying their eyes out because of this situation. she called me a psycho. A PSYCHO. i am a stay at home mom who takes care of her kids and family i am such a psycho. wow. she said she would call the cops on me. why cuz i was yelling at her??? i told asked her if she was going to put the water back on she said no i said you can not leave me with my sick kids without water. she said i don’t care if your kids are sick. oh really? i will have to call the cops or something to report your then because its against the law. i pay my rent on time. i am a great tenant. she said i deserve to be in jail. i left the apartment. im not gonna leave my kids without any water for the day. when we arrived back home there was no water in my apartment. my husband went upstairs and she tried to turn him against me saying i am not who he thinks i am. im sorry but my husband and i have known each other over 10 years he knows who i am. he knows how i treat people. i am one of the most nicest most patient person he knows. finally she got the plumber. we have water. the plumber said the leak isnt’ coming from my apartment. WHO IS THE PSYCHO NOW??!
